After your visit: if a Massachusetts Certifying Healthcare Provider certifies a debilitating condition, you'll register free with the Cannabis Control Commission using a government ID, proof of Massachusetts residency, and a photo, and your Program ID card will be mailed. Carry it whenever you have medical marijuana, and remember that public consumption — including on the beach — isn't allowed. Patients under 18 need certification from two providers and a parent or guardian's consent.
